Visual Documentation Trainee, Huld (Tampere or Jyväskylä)

Are you for example at the final stages of your Industrial Designer studies, or recently graduated and looking for a trainee position for summer 2025? We offer an excellent opportunity at Huld to gain industry experience as a Visual documentation trainee, working on exciting client projects.

You can start in this role for example at the beginning of May and work until the end of August. You have the option to work from Tampere or Jyväskylä office. At the beginning, we expect you to work more closely on-site at the office, but later, you’ll have the flexibility to work also remotely. We offer one week break in July.

In this role, you will dive into both internal and customer projects, creating impactful visuals that enhance Huld's technical documentation portfolio. You'll help design and manage visuals that optimize the end-user experience, accelerating their learning journey. Your role will also involve managing central content database, brainstorming ideas for new visual assets, and contributing to their development. This is your chance to combine creativity with purpose and make a real impact!

• Experience and knowledge of SolidWorks or similar 3D modelling software, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Illustration expertise and skills (rendering, animation).
• Fluent English language skills (both written and spoken), Finnish is seen as a merit.
• Familiar with the basics of structured, technical documentation, both user manuals and software.
• Some experience with UX design.
• Good teamwork and communication skills are essential for the role.

The recruitment process will include an assignment for those selected for an interview. The assignment will be conducted between January 17th and 20th, so please reserve some time during that weekend to complete it.
