How to apply for jobs & register to Academic Work
Academic Work is home of the young professionals, meaning that we offer jobs and recruit people at the beginning of their professional careers. Whether you are a university student looking for a part-time job, or a recent graduate or perhaps someone with a couple of years of working experience, we are here for you!
Where can you find our available jobs?
All our jobs are posted on our this page. If you want you may easily filter all our jobs that do not require full proficiency in Finnish by clicking Jobs in English under the "Muut hakuehdot" filter.
How can you apply for an available job?
Did you find an interesting job opportunity that fits your wishes? Wonderful! Now let's apply for it.
In the job ad, you find a green button saying "Apply here!". By clicking on it you can log in to your already existing account via your email address, Facebook, or Google account. If you haven't registered before, click on "Rekisteröidy" and fill in the required fields: first name, last name, email address, password, and phone number. You may also use your Facebook or Google account in the registration phase.
When you're logged in and applying for the available job, you may upload your existing CV to the system and let the magic happen ✨ In other words, the system will read your CV and fill the boxes for you - the only thing you need to do is to validate the data, to make sure everything is correct. You don't have a CV? No problem! You can fill in the fields manually as well. You may also add your motivation letter to the application!
Ready to send? Perfect, just make sure to click on the "Lähetä hakemuksesi" button on the last step to make sure it actually is sent.

What can I find from my profile?
When you are logged, have added your CV to the system, and validated your data, you may apply to as many positions as you want with the existing information. Are you curious where we are in the selection process on a job you applied for? Go to "Omat hakemukseni" to check the status! Want to keep yourself up-to-date on new available jobs? Go to "Duunivahti" to activate our job alert according to your wishes. Remember to also check your settings from "Asetukset".
Pro tip: how to get all content on our website in English
Unfortunately, currently, our website is available only in Finnish. However, by using Google Chrome as a browser you may see all content translated to English by clicking the right-side button on your mouse anywhere on our page and selecting "Translate to English".
