About the role

As a Process Design Engineer, you will start a learning journey form customer delivery project related work where you learn the basics of the products. Your tasks will include creating technical documentation, such as equipment layouts, piping and instrumentation diagrams. When gaining more experience, you have an opportunity to take responsibility on product design maintenance, -development and related component- and system testing. You will work closely with experienced engineers on customer delivery projects and product development efforts. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills while advancing innovative environmental technology solutions.

Work tasks

  • Develop and design piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), process flow diagrams, and device/component lists
  • Selection and screening of new components as well as testing them
  • Perform process calculations and/or simulations to ensure system functionality
  • Support on creating product related documentation and content for sales, manuals etc.
  • Collaborate actively with stakeholders to optimize process designs

We are looking for

  • A technical educational background in process engineering or a related field
  • Basic understanding of process engineering and functions of process components
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
  • Proficiency in English, Finnish or Swedish is a plus

Knowledge of P&IDs, process calculations, process control engineering or experience in process optimization is considered an advantage.
