Project Lead for the Banking Sector, Oulu

Our client in the banking sector is integrating a third-party service into their systems and we are seeking a Project Lead to lead the development of the integration interface. This role involves defining and documenting of requirements, overseeing the backlog, and ensuring the successful execution of the project.

• Lead the project from planning to execution
• Conduct extensive initial investigations and planning, continuing with detailed design and modeling
• Gather necessary architectural information from internal sources
• Defining and documenting requirements
• Manage the project to ensure tasks are completed correctly and on time
• Oversee a team of 4-6 members, focused on backend systems, service development, and quality assurance (test automation, API testing)

• Proficiency in and understanding of REST APIs (Database, DB2 as the target database)
• Ability to conduct technical investigations and drive the project forward
• Knowledge of Java services and microservices development
• Familiarity with on-premise servers
• Fluent English language skills
• Understanding of PSD2 is beneficial, especially if the candidate has been involved in a related program and understands the key challenges and considerations
