NonStop Expert, DXC Technology Finland Oy - Uusimaa/Finland

You will be part of an IT Outsourcing/Cloud organization. DXC IT Outsourcing services provides customers with reliable, optimized, and secure mission-critical systems at lower cost. They manage and simplify existing infrastructure investments and provide a way forward to modernize IT, including moving portions to the cloud. On the other hand, DXC Cloud services help customers get the business outcomes they expect. When cloud is done right, it can provide up to three times the return on investment and faster business results, with less cost, risk, and disruption. DXC helps customers make the right decisions about what applications to migrate to cloud and when. As a NonStop Expert you will collaborate with one of the company's largest banking customers. You will be involved on requirements gathering, designing, development, testing, maintenance, version upgrades, conversions, and migrations. We expect you to take ownership of your role, providing your expertise on processes improvement and best practices implementation, sharing your knowledge and ideas with the rest of the team.

You will be the face of DXC in front of their customer, and they trust that you will perform a great job understanding the customer needs to deliver robust, clean, and scalable solutions.

• Support business critical applications in complex environments, working mostly with financial customers
• Manage, update, optimize and document solutions based on HPE Nonstop in collaboration with delivery, development and application teams
• Provide advice on technical solutions and project estimation
• Participate in Level 3 support activities including on call rotation (this might include visiting in Data Centers)
• Work in a customer surface and collaboration with customer's technical engineers

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related area of study
• Preferably at least 4 years of experience on HPE Nonstop Systems (Tandem Systems)
• Ability to understand the business and customer needs and act in the proper time and manner
• Ability to work on a multicultural team, communicating often with several stakeholders, customers, and teams
• Open to learn and share knowledge, team player attitude
• Investigation and self-learning skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• You live in the capital area of Finland
