Testing Engineer, Wärtsilä, Vaasa

In this role, you will focus on testing Catalyst Systems auxiliary equipment to ensure everything meets quality standards before delivery to customers. You will set up and install project-specific auxiliary units, conduct functional tests, and create reports to document your findings. This position offers a great opportunity to learn and grow within a supportive team. You will work closely with both internal stakeholders (e.g., designers, project managers) and external stakeholders (e.g., clients, suppliers).

• Set up and install auxiliary units for testing according to project specifications
• Conduct system-level functional testing to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Create and maintain project-specific documentation, reports, and quality records

• Relevant technical educational background (e.g., electrical or automation)
• Some previous understanding and experience in the electrical field
• Eagerness to learn and develop
• Fluency in English, with Finnish or Swedish as a plus

Previous experience with similar tasks and/or assembly work is considered an advantage.
