About the role

As a Solution Architect specializing in Controlling (CO), you will be part of a dedicated chapter team, working alongside professionals with similar expertise in conceptual development. You will operate within virtual Scrum teams, collaborating closely with Product Owners and other team members to drive development activities forward.

Your primary responsibility will be to identify business needs and translate them into development specifications. You will work alongside the Scrum team throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring that the final product aligns with the original concept and meets the agreed-upon acceptance criteria.

Work tasks

• Support Product Owners, Business Analysts, Process Owners, and other stakeholders in gathering business requirements and converting them into development specifications.
• Ensure compliance with established development standards and best practices.
• Work with the Scrum team to ensure that the final product aligns with the defined concept and acceptance criteria.
• Create and maintain requirement documentation, including user stories, wireframes, use cases, and user journeys.
• Serve as a key liaison between stakeholders, technology teams, delivery teams, and support teams regarding requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and other teams to drive technology roadmaps and platform development.
• Develop corporate-level guidelines and standards related to the technology area.
• Provide guidance on release and deployment processes.
• Coordinate development activities across multiple teams.
• Contribute to end-user satisfaction by ensuring high-quality software and best practices.
• Drive the vision and architectural alignment of the technology landscape. The Solution Architect will report to Manager, Chapter FI-CO Development.

We are looking for

We are seeking a motivated and collaborative team player with a strong understanding of Finance processes, particularly in Controlling (CO). The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of SAP Architecture and Integrations.

Key Qualifications:

• A degree in Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Several years of relevant experience in Finance domain processes and solutions.
• Experience with SAP CO (FI) module is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with S/4 HANA and agile methodologies is an advantage.
• Strong negotiation and collaboration skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions and align stakeholders toward a common solution.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work effectively in global projects within virtual, cross-functional teams.
