About the role

The main responsibility area in this role is the application support services of SAP Manufacturing Execution and Variant Configuration solutions. In Manufacturing Execution process area, you will use SAP Production Planning (PP) which is tightly integrated to factory MES solutions. You will also use Variant Configurator (VC) to define Make-to-Order products’ dimensions according to customer specifications. In this role you will join to Supply Chain AMS team. You are responsible for solution support and ensure Manufacturing Execution and Variant Configurator solutions end-to-end availability across Metsä business areas, as well participate to continuous improvement activities.

In addition, you will work as Group Key User on your process area and lead business area level key user network. You will take care of ensuring group alignment for common shared processes, data and systems. You get to work with different stakeholders, business areas and solution partners and your main goal is to ensure that the solutions provided support Metsä business processes as efficient as possible.

Work tasks

• Act as Solution Expert in Manufacturing Execution and Variant Configurator processes
• Lead business area level Key User network
• Coordinate and execute Key User trainings and create training materials
• Coordinate application support, ensuring the quality of incident resolution and achievement of SLA targets
• Manage bug fixes and standard changes
• Provide development proposals based on incident management findings
• Participate to continuous development and solution testing

We are looking for

• Hands-on experience with SAP PP and understanding in SAP VC
• Experience in supporting or developing business-critical applications
• Knowledge with the make-to-order production processes
• Service-minded team player who approaches work with a positive and proactive attitude
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English

Finnish language skills, experience in SAP Master Data management and knowledge in other SAP modules are considered as an asset.
