About the role

As a Data Analyst you will play a key role in analyzing high-resolution sensor data from ships to enhance navigation, fuel efficiency, and overall performance. Your insights will help optimize fleet operations, ensuring data accuracy and identifying trends that drive improvement. In this role, you will work closely with both internal teams and clients, providing data-driven recommendations, creating reports, and maintaining dashboards. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be essential as you investigate anomalies, detect errors, and deliver meaningful analyses. Work tasks

• Analyze ship sensor data to identify anomalies, trends, and improvement areas.
• Conduct data quality checks and prepare reports for clients
• Perform customer-specific analyses and respond to data requests
• Implement and maintain Fleet Intelligence dashboards
• Present findings and quarterly reports to clients

We are looking for

• A relevant educational background (e.g., mathematics, physics, energy technology)
• Strong data analysis skills and problem-solving mindset
• Good mathematical skills & understanding of machine learning
• MATLAB and Python data analytics and visualization knowledge
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• A systematic and detail-oriented approach to work

We consider the following an advantage:

• Knowledge of ship systems and hydrodynamics
• Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools
• Hands-on experience with high-resolution sensor data analysis
• Understanding of machine learning principles
