As a Design Engineer, you will focus on executing and supporting the transition from traditional drawing-based design to Model-Based Definition (MBD) within the organization. Your key tasks will include working as a designer, utilizing MBD guiding and assisting designers in adopting MBD practices, participating in design reviews, and collaborating with suppliers and manufacturing teams on product specification and assembly planning. Additionally, you will provide strategic input on software, equipment, and training decisions to enhance the design process related to MBD. In a dynamic and collaborative environment, your skills will drive innovation and efficiency, helping to accelerate MBD adoption across the company.
