Accountant, Illusian Founder Office, Helsinki

As an accountant, you’ll be part of Illusian’s financial operations team of 7 people with a diverse range of responsibilities, including alternative investment fund operations, investment-related financial management, accounting, as well as multi-asset investment reporting and client service. Working closely with experienced professionals, you’ll develop your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while gaining valuable insight into an evolving and growing Founder Office.

The work tasks include both individual responsibilities and taking part in team responsibilities. Tasks will include for example

• Accounts payable and accounts receivable, invoicing
• Daily accounting and VAT procedures
• Preparation of periodic financial reporting
• Preparation of annual accounts in close cooperation with the team
• Assisting in group accounting and consolidated financial statements
• Assisting in regulatory reporting preparation
• Working with data collection and reporting
• Participation in development projects
• Other finance or administration related tasks based on special capabilities or interests of the person.

• Relevant degree preferably in accounting, finance or similar
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience working in accounting, financial operations, or related tasks and understanding of accounting principles and VAT procedures
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
• Ability to work fluently with data and a keen eye for detail
• Curiosity to learn and take on new challenges
• Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English

Knowledge can be gained through education, experience or self-taught.
