About the role

As a PCB Engineer, you will operate within a multidisciplinary team environment and collaborate with third-party suppliers, contributing to the assembly, integration, verification, and commissioning of Air Traffic Control and Coastal Surveillance radar hardware. A central aspect of the role involves handling electronic devices and cabling, inspecting subsystems, and ensuring compliance with design specifications and functional performance. You will work as part of a cross-functional engineering team in coordination with our UK headquarters. This is a hands-on, laboratory-based position with occasional travel to customer sites or the UK.

Work tasks

• Test, troubleshoot and repair PCBs and electronic equipment in the lab
• Design and develop medium-complexity digital PCBs and internal test systems
• Write basic firmware and test software for microcontrollers and FPGAs
• Program and validate boards received from subcontractors
• Support component replacements and resolve supplier-related technical issues
• Participate in full system assembly, validation and occasional customer site work

We are looking for

• University degree in Electronics Engineering, or related field
• Good understanding of analog and digital electronics
• Strong hands-on experience with PCB testing and development
• Experience programming and initializing bare PCBs
• Proficiency in using Altium Designer and P-CAD for schematic and PCB layout
• Ability to solder and perform board-level repairs
• Familiarity with test instruments (oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc.)
• Fluent English language skills

We consider experience with RF-measurements and testing as an advantage.
