About the role

As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining backend systems using Java, SQL, and related technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Business Analysts, Product Managers, and Product Owners, ensuring the highest quality of deliverables. Your expertise will be essential in conducting code, code reviews and ensuring the seamless operation of CI/CD pipelines to optimize software delivery.

Work tasks

• Develop and maintain backend systems using Java, SQL, and related technologies.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Business Analysts, Product Managers, and Product Owners to ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Conduct regular code reviews and commit code on a daily basis.
• Participating in maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.

We are looking for

• At least 5 years of continued and recent experience in software development and engineering, preferably in large corporate institutions or business-critical functions.
• Familiarity with the latest technologies, including Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and DB2/Oracle.
• Solid background and hands-on experience with Java Spring (Framework, Boot, Batch).
• Proficiency in CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, Bitbucket, REST, Maven, and Junit.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Fluent English skills.

It is meritorious if you have

• Experience with Java Reactive Programming, Hibernate/JPA, and building highly available applications.
• Background in the financial industry.
