About the role

In this role, you'll provide local IT support and manage service requests while collaborating with colleagues across the globe. Additionally, a portion of your time will be dedicated to ongoing IT projects aligned with business needs and your interests, such as system upgrades or process improvements. This role requires on-site work at our Oulu office with possibility for remote work days.

Work tasks

• Install, configure, and maintain workstations and laptops for end users.
• Ensure meeting rooms are fully operational, including AV equipment and network connectivity.
• Provide technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and other IT-related issues.
• Unpack, set up, and maintain IT equipment, keeping an organized inventory.
• Assist in various IT projects and tasks as needed, including global initiatives.

We are looking for

• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to take initiative.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and a good command in Finnish
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware and software.
• Familiarity in different Operating Systems  (Windows, MacOS, Linux)
• Basic understanding of LAN/WLAN networks and IT security is beneficial.
• Knowledge of IT Automation and Linux is a bonus
