About the role
As a Data Analyst at Paulig, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial insights through data. Together with a skilled and collaborative team, you will develop and maintain business intelligence solutions, create dashboards and reports, and support strategic decision-making at Group level. You’ll work closely with colleagues in Finance and Data teams to ensure data accuracy, drive continuous improvement, and strengthen Paulig’s analytics capabilities for the future.

Work tasks
- Provide in-house expertise to develop and maintain Paulig's Business Intelligence solutions
- Understand data structures and content from key source systems to support analytics
- Translate business requirements into data models according to the Paulig DW/BI framework
- Design and develop financial dashboards, reports, and analytics in collaboration with the Group Business Controlling team
- Build and optimize data transfer processes using ETL tools in line with Paulig’s DW/BI framework
- Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of financial data through thorough testing and validation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide business solutions and support decision-making
- Contribute to BI documentation and participate in cross-functional development projects
We are looking for
- At least 2 years of previous experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in data analysis and data visualization tools (Power BI preferably) and SQL
- Ability to manipulate and clean large datasets efficiently
- Ability to understand and work with complex data structures, databases, and data warehouses.
Considered an advantage:
- Understanding of financial concepts and metrics
- Experience with financial reporting and dashboards
- Experience with Snowflake and dbt, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Python
- Knowledge of statistical methods and predictive modeling
Knowledge can be gained through education, experience or self-taught.

- Have strong attention to detail and accuracy in data interpretation
- Possess effective communication skills to convey insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrate a continuous learning mindset, staying updated with new technologies and methodologies in both finance and data analysis
