About the role
In this role, you will take ownership and lead the hydraulic systems design, including component selection, schematic creation, and supporting 3D modeling. You’ll collaborate closely with mechanical and electrical design, support manufacturing and procurement, and occasionally assist with product commissioning and customer support. You also act as team lead for hydraulics design when additional resources are needed. A few short Nordic trips per year will be part of the job.
We’re looking for someone with previous hydraulic design experience, who understands system-level planning and can bring both technical expertise and vision. You’ll need to be comfortable working independently and making decisions, while also collaborating with suppliers and internal teams.

Work tasks
- Create and maintain hydraulic schematics (Zuken E3 systems design CAD)
- Component selection, integration and 3D modelling (SolidWorks) support
- Hands-on collaboration with procurement and manufacturing teams
- Contribute to long-term R&D, including automation and new product development
- Participate in product commissioning and troubleshooting
We are looking for
- A customer-oriented person who takes initiative and is able to drive things forward in varying conditions
- Fluent English skills, Finnish is seen as an advantage
- Previous experience in hydraulic system design
- Experience in leading or owning parts of design projects
- A proactive mindset and strong communication skills
- Willingness to travel for work to Nordic countries regularly
Backround or interest in automation design (Parker IQAN) is seen as an advantage.
Knowledge can be gained through education, experience or self-taught.

Geocadia Machines Oy is a daughter company of Geocadia AB, which aims to revolutionise heating energy production in the Nordic countries. Geocadia Machines currently has a very healthy order backlog and ambitious growth plan. The longer term aim is to become a global powerhouse in geothermal drilling machinery.
