About the role

This is a Full-stack development role for a 3-tier application (database, backend, frontend). You will be working on an existing business-to-business web service that is both maintained and developed according to customer needs. The projects are long-term, so the work is characterized by continuity. You will also have the opportunity to influence your working methods and technology choices. The frontend of the service is currently being revamped, so you'll be able to dive straight into the project!

You could either be starting your career or already an experienced professional, as the responsibilities of the role can be adjusted accordingly. However, to succeed in this role, we do expect prior experience in similar positions.

We are looking for

• Relevant educational background for the position
• Previous experience with Java or Scala
• Ability to develop and implement new features into on an existing Scala/Postgres application
• Ability to monitor and update existing cloud infrastructure
• Ability to make modifications on an existing Vue.js application
• Fluent spoken and written English skills

Experience and interest in the IoT world is considered an advantage. Feel free to elaborate on this in your cover letter, if desired.

• Start: As soon as possible
• Contract duration: Full time, 37,5 hours / week, Ongoing contract
• Location: Espoo with a hybrid work model combining office and remote work. The client’s practice is to be in the office 3 days a week.
