About the role

This is a versatile role that includes legal and regulatory assessments, risk evaluations, and collaboration with both engineering and commercial teams. Depending on your experience, the role can be tailored to suit a more junior candidate who has already gained some professional experience—especially if they have a background related to safety. This role is ideal for someone proactive, curious, and capable of navigating cross-functional environments independently.

Work tasks

• Assess regulatory and legal requirements in various markets to support product development.
• Perform and facilitate risk assessments, and define necessary risk reduction measures together with design teams.
• Act as an internal expert on standards and safety-related legislation, and communicate key requirements to stakeholders.
• Contribute to technical documentation and support collaboration across engineering, compliance, and occasionally sales teams.

We are looking for

• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Educational background for example in electrical or automation engineering (BSc or MSc level), which helps in understanding machinery and mechanical systems.
• Some prior experience in product development or design, preferably with some involvement in risk assessments or the use of relevant standards.
• Familiarity with the Machinery Directive is considered an advantage, especially for the European market.
